So this blog is on my favorite goaltender from my favorite team. His name is Corey Crawford. He is from the Chicago Black hawks. He has just got his 7th shutout of the season. He played against the blues last night in Chicago and made 25 saves for Chicago last night at home. This was the hawks 7th straight win at Chicago also. The Black hawks' seven game home winning streak is their longest run since November 9th- December 21 in 2014, they went (8-0-0). With this win they pulled away from the Stars with a 5 point lead in the central division. They also grew closer to the Capitals who are now only 3 points ahead of the hawks for the top NHL spot in the league.league. Crawford's 28 wins rank is only second int he NHL behind Braden Holtby.

NHL News

The L.A. Kings got center Vincent Lecavalier from the flyers. The kings manager said he needed more flexibility for the bottom 6 forwards to mature and a replacement for a physical defense man Matt Greene who is out indefinitely after a shoulder surgery. Lecavalier is happy about the trade he wants a few more tries for the cup before he goes out. He thinks there is no better place to find it that a team that has won it recently. The flyers manager says Vinnie was excited and saw it as a new opportunity to get the cup with a great team. He was the first round pick in the '98 draft by the lightening. He later took the lightening to the cup in '04. The move is also exciting for Vinnie because he knows a lot of players in L.A. and they all think they will fill the position very well. Vinnie is also being traded along with another one of his close teammates, Luke Schenn. They both are excited about the move and cant wait to get to playing in the new team.
